Richard Marple

grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended the University of Tulsa where he received his Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering. He went on to earn his Master’s in the same field at Washington University in St. Louis. After a short stint as a Chemical Engineer Richard chose to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. He attended the University of Oklahoma Medical College where he graduated in the top 5% of his class!

After graduation from medical school, he specialized in Internal Medicine and has now been in private practice for over 25 years focusing on adult medical care.

Internal Medicine specialists have had intensive training concentrating on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of adult illnesses. This training involves 7 to 8 years of medical education, after college and gives the practitioner a wide-ranging knowledge base related to the complex ailments that affect adults as they age through the years.

Richard is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in the past has had added qualifications in geriatrics and sports medicine.   He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
